Five houses relating to Shakespeare's life, which are owned and cared for by The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, including: Shakespeare's Birthplace, Hall's Croft, Nash's House, New Place, Anne Hathaway's Cottage and Mary Arden's House. |

Royal Shakespeare Company and theatres |
One of the world's best-known theatre ensembles, focusing on works by Shakespeare, other renaissance dramatists and contemporary writers. The new Royal Shakespeare Theatre is due to be completed in 2010, until then The Courtyard Theatre will be the RSC's main home and the Company will make use of venues across Stratford-upon-Avon. |

Trinity Church |
Simply known as Shakespeare's Church, due to its fame as the place of baptism and burial of William Shakespeare, the present building dates from 1210 and is Stratford's oldest building. |

The Dirty Duck |
The best known pub in Stratford and situated just across the road from the RSC it has been frequented by thirsty for over 100 years. The walls of the pub are covered in signed photographs of actors such as Richard Burton and Laurence Olivier. |

Inside of the Butterfly Farm is like entering an artificial jungle, with small bridges and waterfalls, and plenty of large butterflies flying around freely. There is also Arachnoland a display of the world’s deadliest and biggest spiders. |
